Taal Town

A former capital of one of the most affluent provinces that in its heyday when prices of sugar and coffee were at their height, enjoyed its share of splendour and opulence. Along with Vigan, it is one of the most preserved towns in the Philippines and has a rich colonial heritage.
It is not surprising that through the years, conservationists, heritage activists and artists have flocked to Taal to settle onsite or wallow in its old-world charm and ambiance.
