Katrin de Guia, mother of Kidlat, has created a series of whimsical, ethereal figures made of found or discarded objects such as empty glass bottles, dried bone, sea shells, coins, beads. These figures are included in her husband Kidlat Tahimik’s epic art installation INDIO-GENIUS: 500 Taon ng Labanang Kultural which just opened last October 17, 2022 at the National Museum of Anthropology.
