In 2000, LCDR Kiram Sadava rescued 1,400 residents in Milbuk Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat who were caught in the crossfire during the MILF conflict. In 2015, he regularly outmaneuvered smugglers in Balabac, Palawan resulting in the capture of several speedboats reportedly used in human and wildlife trafficking, smuggling, and kidnapping. He has also organized several community-building activities such as medical and dental missions and the construction of schools from as far south as Balabac, Palawan to Batanes. He also planned and led the underwater flag-laying activity at Philippine Rise in 2017. Other stories will remain classified.
